Wash away stains and soiling with water. Avoid direct sunlight and allow to air dry in a cool well ventilated area. If stored wet or soiled, mold can grow and the pole can start to rust causing premature deterioration. Use a damp cloth to clean the poles. Afterwards apply a silicone lubricant. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
